Level 1 (Ultimate Level) Framing
Our Level 1 framing is the pinnacle of preservation. Level 1 framing is recommended for priceless and irreplaceable artworks.
Level 2 (High Level) Framing
Level 2 framing ensures excellent preservation standards for your artwork. This level of framing is suitable for valuable artworks that require significant protection.
Level 3 (Mid Level) Framing
Our Level 3 framing strikes a balance between protection and affordability. This level of framing is ideal for artworks of moderate value, offering a good level of preservation while maintaining budget considerations.
Level 4 (Low Level) Framing
Level 4 framing provides a basic level of protection for your artwork. While Level 4 framing does not offer the same level of conservation as higher levels, it still provides a functional and presentable framing solution for less valuable or decorative pieces.
At Black Star Framing we work to the worldwide framing standards as defined by the Fine Arts Trades Guild.
Unless otherwise instructed we will work to conservation standard (Level 2 or above), by doing so we will ensure that all of our work is fully reversible without causing any damage to your precious artwork in the process.
Of course there may be occasions where costs are the primary consideration and we will be happy to discuss other options and outline the pro's and con's in order for you to make an informed decision.
